it was rumored that Pete Seger ran around backstage looking for an axe to cut the cord to Dylan's electrical guitar, the first time Bob played a festival without acoustics.
Paul from Peter, Paul and Mary had to come onstage and quiet the angry fans with promises of more mellow folk in the second set - this mellow set never came.
thus began the isolationist phase of Bobby's life, he no longer played for activists - he hired The Band and began a long life of telling people to get lost.
and soon he had his own channel on satellite radio -
